Changed Dentists because I was unsatisfied with my previous dentist. Went to Apalachee Bay Family Dental for the first time, and the entire staff was just so friendly and accommodating. Dr Grooters, the dentist, was just flat out AWESOME! Did thorough work and explained everything, and did not seem in a rush to get to the next patient. It was really one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Sandy and Crystal up front were great, and I can't remember my dental techs name, but she was awesome as well! I am so glad I found this place!

I've had a great experience with the team at Apalachee Bay Family Dental. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. They always make me feel welcome, explain everything clearly, and provide excellent care from start to finish. Apalachee Bay Family Dental has a wonderful staff that is filled with a happy and friendly front-desk (that I love). Their dental hygienists are very experienced, skilled, and gentle. Dr. Grooter has put together a terrific staff! 11/4/2025....Every visit to this place reaffirms my steadfast beliefs in how exceptional the entire staff is. What a wonderful compilation of beautiful human beings who just so happen to be highly skilled at what they do. This is true from the front of the house admin who greet you with welcoming smiles to the back of the house hygienists and dentists who clean and improve your oral health. This place is one above Top Notch! 7/6/2026....Another wonderful visit. Can't say enough about how great this place is. Today, I noticed how neat, organized, and clean the waiting area is. "Spic & span" and the two waiting areas are as if the USMC balanced and aligned the furniture. Everything was prefect. Thank you (Apalachee Bay Family Dental) for always giving me several reasons to smile.

Went in for my imaging & initial exam today and everyone was so nice! I have pretty bad anxiety around the dentist and given I hadn’t been in many years I was extra nervous this go around. Ms. Alyssia (please correct my spelling) shot my X-rays and was so kind and helpful! Dr. Grooters took the time to explain my X-rays to me and never made me feel bad about my situation. I go back for my first procedure next month (s/o to the scheduler who’s name I didn’t catch—worked with my schedule and helped me find a good time to come back) and feel way more calm than before. Looking forward to being a patient here :)

Dr GROOTERS and his staff are wonderful. They greet you by name and whether it’s a cleaning or a tooth extraction they are consistently making sure you are comfortable and not experiencing any pain. Best dental visits I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

Everyone was so polite and Dr. Benjamin was kind enough to explain the treatment plan personally ans makw sure you are both on the same page. I just wish more slots open sooner for follow up but they definitely give updates if a spot comes up.

The staff was off the chain very considerate of me and my care. Dr. Grooter was great made me feel like I was doing a good job with my teeth. The only thing he told me was that I needed to wear my night brace. Loved the experience. Amy is a wonderful hygienist. She is very compassionate.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Grooters and I can't say enough good things about him and the staff. They are all very friendly and make sure you are comfortable with the cleaning and X-rays. Dr. Grooters is great. He explains everything and most importantly he actually listens and addresses your concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Grooters
