I have been looking for several months, for an office where I could have a Carotid Intima Media Thickness Scan. I am so glad I found Dr. Scapillato at Family Dental Care of Oak Park. He was able to do the CIMT scan for me, and in addition, found that I had a grinding issue and scanned me for a guard to prevent further damage to my teeth. He is a doctor concerned with preventive medicine, and it shows in the way he treats his patients. He is kind and knowledgeable, advocating for the best treatment to prevent disease and has a whole body philosophy to his health care. His staff was kind, personable, respectful and sweet. I will be going back to Family Dental Care of Oak Park, and I recommend anyone interested in their overall health and longevity to look into having a Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) done there in addition to their dental needs. 5.0 Diane Bruske Very satisfied. Today I went into his office and he repaired my chipped tooth. That may seem simple but the way he showed compassion and kindness to me was heartwarming. He and his staff were genuinely caring and supportive of my fears. It is so refreshing to experience a dentist who cares about how his patients feel. I feel blessed to have him as my dentist.
